The BIG DAY has arrived! Leaving Great Falls Montana tomorrow! Alaska, here we come!

We have officially integrated into Adventure Caravans travel group. We had a welcome meeting yesterday, RV inspection, and lots of orientation with lots of nice people. It feels very strange to begin this part of the adventure and not know anybody. I have been a little bit homesick and nostalgic. I know we will be fine, it’s just a little bit scary. We leave for Cardston, Alberta 👀 in the morning and go across the Canadian border. We’ve been given instructions on what to say and not say! No weapons, minimal Alcohol, and no smart mouths! Our Wagon Master leaves at 0800 and our Tail Gunner Leaves at 10 o’clock. We can leave anywhere between there. We have a carriage ride and museum scheduled for 1500, when we arrive at the next RV place, which is Lee Creek campground.

Here are a few pictures of our Great Falls, Montana visit, from the past three days. We took a bike ride along the Missouri river, and saw a few little cascading falls, not much to speak of, since they dammed up the water falls. We went to the Lewis and Clark interpretive Center, W. Russell Art museum (he paints westerns), went to the grocery store for the first time since the trip began and washed our big bug ridden truck “Charlie”. Finally feeling clean again, lol.
