It’s like a wedding!

Trust me, I will not be posting daily. I thought I would get off to a good start, however, After lots and lots of planning, it comes down to the last three days before the event, like a wedding. You can plan and be prepared as much as you can until the final days. It turns out one of our tires was bald from a brake locking up and skidding, and if you know anything about travel trailers, you have to be paranoid about tires and their integrity. So Monday, we got the tire replaced. Tuesday we decided we better go check out the breaking system because something strange happened that caused this tire to lock up and be bald on one area. Luckily it wasn’t too bad of a fix, something to do about magnets, and they checked all the other tires, but we lost a day of packing the trailer. And the day before, we lost hours, because the tire had to be replaced. So being prepared, and packing until midnight and going to sleep at about 12:30 AM and waking up at 3:30 AM we started our first day of travel to come to our first Harvest host, Dutchmen Vineyards In Ripon, California. It’s a cool little place! And we got here much quicker than We anticipated, Approximately 2 PM . after having three hours of sleep, it was good to get here early. We were literally throwing things in the trailer last night at the end as you can imagine, For a six month RV trip. Ugh. Sorry for the typos I am just way too tired to correct all this. Anyways the hosts of Harvest Hosts, had a wine tasting privately for Scott and Penny and us. We walked the vineyards and almond groves  and the area afterwards, and it was really really nice and peaceful. All is well.
